Eli's swing

Eli inherited a swingset from Keith & Jenna's neighbors who moved. During the winter all of us that could help took it apart (in lots of snow) and put it in the yard in pieces to wait until the spring thaw. Kevin & I came over for Jenna's birthday in May. We were babysitting E while his Papa took his Momma out to dinner and a movie. Before they left we all put the set back together and Eli enjoyed some time on it with his Pop Pop.

Occupying Eli

Eli has never been much into car rides. We found out on our way down to Charlotte that he has his Papa & Momma's love of e-toys. I don't know how to work an iphone but Eli does and he loved it!
Our recent trip to Charlotte was finished off by a visit the restaurant that Jami's school runs. Yummy!

more zoo day

This is "under" the new polar bear exhibit. They were napping up top but we could still see the fish swimming around...a very cool place to hang out in the sun.

Eli took a short nap at the end of the day. while all the other children were screaming because they were tired, E just laid down & closed his eyes. What a wonderful grandson!!! And what a wonderful way to spend Mother's Day. We delivered him home safe & sound.

Happy Mother's Day

Jenna & Keith needed us to baby sit today so Pop Pop & GiGi took Eli to the zoo today. Here is Pop Pop taking him into the petting zoo. What a way to spend Mother's Day!!! I loved it.

For Mother's Day Kevin bought a video camera to use on these occasions. It is a wonderful one but the videos take forever to load. Needless to say, we'll use the camera portion mostly from here on out but we were playing with it today.
